Although wild swimming has been around for some time, it really gained in popularity during lockdown in 2020.
I became a fan of the sport and subsequently wanted to capture the feelings it invoked in paint. I reached out to the community asking for models and was surprised by the sheer amount of people who were practising cold water immersion and wild swimming.
