In February 2020 I retired. My plan was to travel all over the country and abroad in my little converted Ambulance, Lula, in the company of Scooby and Pixie. However, the fates had different ideas and after only a month of travel, I was forced to return home due to COVID-19.
I decided to make the most of it by redecorating Lula and congratulating myself on my superb retirement timing!
There is a sort of theme to the paintings. The lower cupboards represent the seasons and the upper cupboards are places I’ve visited over the years

Spring – renewal Beltane – love – this one is my favourite Summer – birth and growth Autumn -Halloween – witches’ new year Winter – Yule Scotland – I parked in a car park near a Loch and saw the deer while sipping my morning coffee Stonehenge – I visited for the Summer Solstice in 2016. It was an amazing experience Maze in Scotland – based on the sun’s movements. Scooby and Pixie and Doll Tor in Derbyshire Goddess in her three forms – Maiden Mother and Crone – this was the largest door and the most fun to paint Wild parking in Yorkshire – there was no one for miles!
