These are the first three of the zodiac paintings representing Taurus, Gemini, and Aquarius. There will eventually be twelve paintings in the collection.  Each original will be available for purchase separately.  I will also be offering high-quality prints.

Gemini (Central Painting)

This painting employs a surreal style. The style is blended, combining elements of realism in the faces with more abstract elements in the background.  Ravens above add a mystical touch. The background suggests a deeper subconscious layer.  The color palette is predominantly dark, with accents of teal and brighter colors in the background details.

There's a sense of intimacy yet a subtle tension.  The painting visually embodies the duality inherent in this zodiac sign alluding to the constant internal dialogue, the two sides of a personality, and the struggle for balance and harmony between opposing forces within oneself.

Taurus (Left Painting)

This piece is more naturalistic and grounded.  The style is reminiscent of classical mythology and Art Nouveau influences. The woman's expression presents a mix of power, serenity, and perhaps a touch of melancholy. Her posture is confident, but the presence of the skull suggests a contemplation of mortality and the ephemeral nature of life.

The painting represents the grounding, sensual, and sometimes stubborn nature of Taurus. The woman's dominance over the bull skull demonstrates strength and resilience, while the leafy background represents the connection to nature inherent to the Taurus personality.  The use of the skull implies grounding in the reality of life and death.

Aquarius (Right Painting)

This painting showcases a vibrant, more narrative scene, symbolizing a communal act or sharing of resources. The style is less abstract than the central piece and utilizes a brighter, more saturated color palette.  The overall feeling is one of hope and connection.

This depiction of Aquarius mirrors the sign's humanitarian nature. It visualizes the themes of community, service, and the importance of sharing and collaboration to achieve a common good. The water being shared signifies the sharing of knowledge, ideas, or emotional support – all elements associated with the Aquarius spirit.

The positioning of the three paintings on the wall is a deliberate curatorial choice. The order—Taurus, Gemini, Aquarius—might not be chronological but presents a thematic arc: from the grounded earthiness of Taurus, to the internal duality of Gemini, and finally, to the outward-looking generosity of Aquarius. Each painting represents a unique aspect of the human condition.   These works are not merely decorative, but a thoughtful statement on the human experience.
